Mumbai Police to take action against Amitabh Bachchan and Anushka Sharma for riding bikes without helmets
Legal troubles seem to be mounting for megastar Amitabh Bachchan and actor Anushka Sharma as Mumbai Police has initiated action against them for not wearing helmets while riding bikes in the city. Both the stars were recently spotted riding bikes separately but without helmets. While Big B yesterday took a lift from a fan to reach his work location, Anushka was seen sitting on a bike with her bodyguard after a roadblock. In both scenarios, neither of them nor their riders wore helmets and thus they breached the Traffic rule.
Soon after Amitabh and Anushka’s pictures surfaced online, a few social media users complained against them to Mumbai Police, asking to take action against the actors. The 80-year-old superstar posted a picture of him taking a bike ride from an unknown person and wrote in the caption, “Thank you for the ride buddy .. don’t know you .. but you obliged and got me on time to location of work .. faster and in avoidance of the unsolvable traffic jams .. thank you capped, shorts and yellowed T-shirt owner.” Reacting to it, one Twitter user commented, “Missing helmets for both rider and pillion. @MumbaiPolice please take note!” ALSO READ: WHAT?! Meanwhile, Amitabh, who was last seen in Uunchai, will next be seen in Nag Ashwin’s directorial Project K with Deepika Padukone and Prabhas. Apart from this, the veteran actor also has Ribhu Dasgupta's courtroom drama 'Section 84' in the pipeline.
On the other hand, Anushka is making her comeback with the upcoming sports drama ‘Chakda Xpress’ which is based on the life of cricketer Jhulan Goswami.
